Pallavi Sood
Bio :
I’m a RCI registered Clinical Psychologist Associate and a proud alumna of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. I specialize in working with adults navigating depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, interpersonal challenges, and personality-related concerns. My clinical experience also includes supporting individuals with psychiatric disorders and offering psychoeducation to families when needed. My approach to therapy is trauma-focused and client-centered, grounded in the belief that every individual has the innate capacity to heal — sometimes, they just need the right support. I primarily draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) while integrating concepts from Applied Buddhist Psychology to bring mindfulness and deeper insight into our work together. Currently, I’m also training with Somatic Experiencing International (California) to become a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, which helps me support clients through a mind-body lens. Outside the therapy room, you’ll often find me immersed in books, laughing at memes, spending time in nature, or hanging out with my dogs — all of which help me stay grounded and connected.
