Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT)

Serves as the introductory training in Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFCT).

Provides a comprehensive foundation for understanding and applying the EFT model in clinical work with couples.

Focuses on accessing, exploring, and restructuring attachment-based emotional responses in partners.

Emphasizes creating secure attachment bonds to reduce conflict and improve emotional connection.

24+ hours of training, typically delivered over four consecutive days.

Covers both Stage 1 (de-escalation of negative cycles) and Stage 2 (creating bonding events).

Step 4: Supervision

Minimum of 8 hours of EFCT Supervision which can include up to 4 hours of group supervision.
